Roger Vinzant Obituary
ROGER DALE VINZANT, age 75 of Clanton, passed away on February 10, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Jefferson County on October 19, 1945; the son of the late Leon Vinzant and the late Lura Belle Peters Vinzant.
He was a former construction superintendent.
He is survived by: Wife, Ping Li Vinzant of Clanton; Son, Brian (Layle) Vinzant of Clanton; and Niece, Carolyn Jeffcoat of Montgomery.
He is preceded in death by: Wife, Anna Lloyd Bean Vinzant; Parents, Leon and Lura Belle Vinzant; Sister, Ethelene Wallace; Sister, Elizabeth Cleckler; and Brother, James W. “Boot” Vinzant.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Green and Rev. James Peters officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
