Sharon Lynn (Giles) Martin

SHARON LYNN (GILES) MARTIN, age 59 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on October 19, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on January 15, 1960; the daughter of the late Luther Giles and the late Betty Nicholson Giles.

She was a former registered nurse.

She is survived by: Daughter, Dawn (Phillip) Jackson of Verbena; Son, Chris (Samantha) Martin of Clanton; 7 Grandchildren; Sister, Donna (Mike) Smith of Randolph; Brother, Edward (Paula) Giles of Jemison; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Jeff Mims officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Hope Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
