STEVE TAYLOR BELCHER, age 57 of Jemison, passed away on December 28, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born in Birmingham, AL on March 9, 1963; the son of Henry Taylor Belcher and the late Carolyn Cecilia Brown Belcher.
He was a salesman. Steve was a loving husband, father, and popa. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved spending time working with his tractor at the hunting club.
He is survived by: Wife, Lynn Belcher of Jemison; Daughter, Jennifer (Heath) Jackson of Jemison; Daughter, Cassie (Glenn) Huett of White City; Daughter, Lauren (Derek) Drescher of Alabaster; Son, Josh (Shana) Ashmore of Jemison; Grandchildren: Sadie Jackson, Anna Margaret Kiker, William Huett, Tatum Huett, John Hunter Huett, Elise Drescher, Alexa Labac, and Melanie Ashmore; Father, Taylor Belcher of Jemison; and Great-Aunt, Louise Howton of Quinton.
He is preceded in death by: Mother, Cecilia Belcher.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Glenn Standifer officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Steve’s memory be made to the Chilton County Humane Society.
