Virginia Anne (Littlefield) Thompson

VIRGINIA ANNE THOMPSON, age 74 of the Union Grove Community in Jemison, passed away on April 14, 2021 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Chilton County on January 14, 1947; the daughter of the late Willie T. Littlefield and the late Emma Baker Littlefield.

She was a former transportation coordinator with Chilton-Shelby Mental Health. She was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with family and friends, as well as crocheting. She will be remembered for being a friend to everyone, kindhearted, doing anything she could for others, and being a mom to many besides her own.

She is survived by: Daughter, Misti (Travis) Lucas; Daughter, Vanessa Barrett; Daughter, Kristi Thompson; Grandchildren: Rhett Lucas, Lane Bishop, Austin Thompson, Austin Thompson, Andrew Milford, Alyssa Barrett, Kaleigh Vanderslice, and Kyleigh Vanderslice; Sister, Vickie (Frank Couch) Littlefield; Sister, Donna Brantley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by: Her husband of 50 years, Johnny Thompson; Parents, Willie T.  and Emma Lee Littlefield; and Brother-in-Law, Ronnie Brantley.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00am in the Union Grove Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Union Grove Baptist Church.
