Willodean (Davis) Lowery-Easterling

WILLODEAN (DAVIS) LOWERY-EASTERLING, age 85 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on May 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on August 5, 1935; the daughter of the late Reese Coleman Davis and the late Lucille Honeycutt Davis.

She was a former secretary with the Visiting Nursing Association.

She is survived by: Daughter, Michelle Lowery (Michael DeWayne) Mitchell; Daughter, Mellony Lowery (Sidney, Jr.) McNeal; 17 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and Special Friends: Pete, Jerry, Nancy, and Peggy.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Marshall Wayne Lowery, Sr.; Husband, Jadie Thomas Easterling; Son, Marshall Wayne Lowery, Jr.; and Son, Michael Reese Lowery.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Bobby Hopper officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Inurnment will follow in the Walnut Creek United Methodist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.

The family request in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Wounded Warrior’s Project, as this was an organization close to Willodean’s heart.
