Joan Mims Dunn

JOAN MIMS DUNN, age 60 of Clanton, passed away on December 24, 2017 at her residence. She was born on July 1, 1957, daughter of the late Willie D. Mims and the late Nell Noah Mims.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Elzie Green of Clanton and Jennifer Green Simmons of Clanton; Grandchildren, Katelyn Green of Clanton, DeAnna Green of Clanton, Kacey Simmons of Clanton, and Paizley Simmons of Clanton; Sisters, Pat Hay of Clanton and Willie (Edward) Wilson of Clanton; and Brothers, Roger Dale (June) Mims of Clanton, Ricky Mims of Clanton, and Joe (Judy) Mims of Clanton.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 6:00pm from the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Mims officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
