J. Aaron Ellison

J. Aaron Ellison

Owner/Operator, Funeral Director, & Embalmer

Aaron is a life-long resident of Chilton County. He is a 2005 graduate of Jemison High School. He then attended Jefferson State Community College, and graduated in 2008 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Funeral Service Education.

Aaron is an active member of LakeHills Church in Calera. Aaron is active in the Alabama Funeral Directors Association where he serves on the membership, and scholarship committees. He is also an active member of the National Funeral Directors Association.

Aaron is married to Tracy Newman Ellison. They have three sons: Jace Newman (11), Aaden Ellison (8), Coven Ellison (1), and expecting another son, Emmett Carden Ellison in July 2018. Aaden has Autism, and Aaron is an advocate of Autism awareness and issues. Aaron is the son of Joe Earl and Cindy Ellison of Jemison. He is the grandson of Jettie Mae and the late Joe O. Ellison, and Jean and the late Raymond Carden, all of the Jemison area.

Aaron is passionate about serving families in their hour of need and assisting families through their grief. He developed the funeral home's motto of Commpassionate, Dignified, Affordable Care.

Shane D. Ogle

Shane D. Ogle

Licensed Funeral Director, Pre-Need Counselor, and Monument Consultant

Shane is a life-long resident of Chilton County and lives in Clanton. He is a 2006 graduate of Maplesville High School. Shane began his career in the funeral industry in 2006. He is a licensed funeral director. He joined the firm with its opening in 2010.

Shane and his family are active members of Clanton First United Methodist Church, where he serves as Young Adult Coordinator. He is also active in the Chilton County Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Board of Directors.

He and his wife, Christy Latham Ogle have three children, Dylan, Kason and Mollie. Shane is the son of Randy Ogle of Pensacola, FL and Delene Smith of Stanton, AL, and the grandson of Johnny and Jewel Smith of Stanton, AL, and the late J.T. Clyde Ogle and the late Ellen Cook Ogle of Selma, AL.

Shane is well versed in pre-arrangements, at-need arrangements, and monument sales. 

Other than Shane's passion for his family and his church, his biggest passion is to serve the people of Chilton County and surrounding areas with, "Compassionate, Dignified, and Affordable Care.'

Roger Cleckler

Roger Cleckler

Funeral Assistant

Roger is a life-long resident of Chilton County. He is a 1981 graduate of Chilton County High School. He joined the firm with its opening in 2010.

Roger is an active member of Mountain Springs Independent Methodist Protestant Church in Clanton, where he serves on the church leadership council. Roger grew up in the funeral home business, working alongside his father, George Vernon Cleckler for many years.

Roger is married to Becky Easterling Cleckler They have two children: Bradley (Caitlin) Cleckler and Kandice Cleckler. He is the son of the late George Vernon Cleckler and Lois Cleckler MIller of Clanton. 

Roger is compassionate about funeral service and loves to serve the people of Chilton County. 


Amelia Hubbard

Amelia Hubbard

Receptionist/Secretary

Amelia is a life-long resident of Chilton County. She is a 1982 graduate of Chilton County High School. She joined the firm in 2012. 

Amelia is an active member of Cedar Grove Independent Methodist Protestant Church in Thorsby, where she serves as church treasurer and secretary.

She is married to Gary Hubbard. They have two sons: Matthew (Sara) Hubbard and Cody (Rachel) Hubbard. They also have four grandchildren, Camden, Brynlee, McKinley, and Grady. Amelia is the daughter of the late George Vernon Cleckler and Lois Cleckler MIller of Clanton.

Amelia enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, She also loves pursuing her love for Southern Gospel Music as she and her brothers make up the gospel music group known as, Canaanland.
